Ralph McQuarrie was born in Indiana, USA and is a conceptual designer and illustrator for A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He also have a cameo part in The Empire Strikes Back as General McQuarrie. He passes in front of a large self-created matte painting of several GR-75 medium transports.
