The Empire Strikes Back
Today we celebrate…
Clive Revill at his 80th birthday (born 1930)
Benedict Taylor at his 50th birthday (born 1960)

Clive Selsby Revill was born in Wellington, New Zealand and did the voice of the Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back.

In the Emperor’s first appearance, as a hologram in The Empire Strikes Back, he is voiced by Clive Revill and played by an old woman wearing prosthetic makeup. 24 years after the release of the film his performance as the Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back was deleted and replaced by the face and voice of Ian McDiarmid, who has played the role in all the subsequent episodes.

Benedict Taylor, adoptive brother of Femi Taylor, was born in England, UK and played the fighter pilot Bravo Two in The Phantom Menace.

Femi Taylor played the dancer Oola in Return of the Jedi. She returned for additional scenes in Special Edition 14 years later because she remarkably looked unchanged.

Oola is a beautiful green-skinned Twi’lek dancer, enslaved to Jabba the Hutt.

Bravo Two is a pilot in the Royal Naboo Security Forces. According to Wookieepedia he is named Porro Dolphe.
